It’s been three days since I got night shift and so far, the change has not been pretty on me. I’m quickly remembering why I quit my first job back in 2007 as a collections agent. Sleeping is a challenge, I’m falling out of love with food, my energy levels being not where I’m used them to be, I’m not thinking things through as thoroughly as before – everything pointing out that I’m seriously out of sync.
So what to do? First I’m going to get myself a comfortable batcave – dark room, comfortable temperature and commute-friendly to and from Ortigas. Second, I need to learn to prepare my own food. Fastfood is quickly becoming un-enticing and I really need to get healthy. Third, I need to get myself to exercise. Fourth, take more control of my life by starting to get organized.
