@kuda, I’m afraid kailangan mong i-verify sa PRC yung score mo. Imagine kung ire-release sa broadsheet lahat ng scores, kawawa naman yung hindi ganun kataas ang scores.
BTW, passing the Board exam is just the minimum requirement for Civil Engineers. You’ll not be remembered by the scores you got but by the feats you accomplished after the test.

I can’t believe examinees nowadays can hit this high score. Its almost perfect and in fairness to this individuals, they are very smart. I think its about time to change the whole procedure of the CE Licensure. Here in the US, you need to gain 5 years experience working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer before you qualify to take the PE exam. Before that, you need to pass FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) test first before you graduate. That’s probably the reason behind most Engineers here are very knowledgeable on their practice.

@ Stallion: Exams, specifically given for CE, are not that competitive nowadays. Especially the November 2008 exam, it wasn’t that hard as expected (perfect scores are absolutely attainable). It would also be enlightening to know that there are indeed a lot errors given in the exam, be it typo, wrong statement of the question, or purely unavailability of correct answers on the given choices. I took the May 2009 exam and I can attest to those errors i’ve mentioned. It’s just sad to think that this actually happens almost everytime yet no proper actions have been taken. Also, for a given type of exam, where our professional license is at stake, I hope that they will also consider the venues of the exam. I took the exam in a private school gymnasium. It was like hell. How can one concentrate with that kind of condition. Lastly, surely the PRC releases it own list of cream of the crop but how can they justify the true essence of the ranking amidst all the irregularities in the questions per se?
Btw, I’ve passed the exam. I just wanna share my sentiments about the experiences I’ve encountered. Congratulations to those all who passed! And to those who weren’t lucky enough, as what i’ve heard from the other examinees, “May and November will always exist.” Exam questions are basic, learn the fundamentals and wish yourselves a lot of luck! 😀
