i have to write about this!
the University of the Philippines campus is crawling with military personnel in full battle gear. no, they are not in campus to suppress militant activism. they are deployed to help out in clearing operations in the university grounds. it really cool to see army men in uniform sweeping the Academic Oval. and this is under the eyes of comrades with rifles on their sides (talk about paranoia!).
it’s unfortunate that i have no camera on my person though! they are quite cute! haha!
